About Me
- Name: Karla
- Location: Canada
I came to Romania straight out of university as an intern working with intercultural education. After extending my contract twice, I realised how much I love my newly adopted country and decided to stay as long as I could. "As long as I could" turned into 361 days. I am now back in Canada, but am hoping to revive this blog to coincide with my new job.

I'd never believe that sign. Romania also thinks aliens have landed in their country (I even saw local newspapers there that showed pictures, and they stated that aliens have landed). It's been in worldwide media, and their local papers. One of the best false alarms was when a village mistook an outside disco with laser lights as an attacking alien UFO.

I laughed my ass off when they told this news story on the radio here in the states.
