I came to Romania straight out of university as an intern working with intercultural education. After extending my contract twice, I realised how much I love my newly adopted country and decided to stay as long as I could. "As long as I could" turned into 361 days. I am now back in Canada, but am hoping to revive this blog to coincide with my new job.

Fabulous! Reminds me of home.
That was possibly the best breakfast I've ever eaten! Turkish bread kicks ass! French and Italian breads have nothing on Turkish breads!
And the cheese.... The guy who served it to me told me it was brought by his mother that morning from the farm. It was probably complete bullshit but tasted wonderful!
Almost makes me want to jump on the next train to Turkey!
