About Me
- Name: Karla
- Location: Canada
I came to Romania straight out of university as an intern working with intercultural education. After extending my contract twice, I realised how much I love my newly adopted country and decided to stay as long as I could. "As long as I could" turned into 361 days. I am now back in Canada, but am hoping to revive this blog to coincide with my new job.

My dad was born in Moldova. Still have my grandma there (his mother); 92 years of age and she still brings the water from the well.
Can you say: good gene pool?
I absolutely LOVE Moldova! I was only there for a weekend but it was the highlight of my trip.
Chisinau is a great city!
People had strange accents, but who can argue with the birthplace of O-Zone?
Good genes? of course yu have good genes! You're half Moldovan!!!
