Update

I haven't been around much since coming back from Turkey, but here's a little update:

a) I have another 600 or so pictures to upload. I need to find a Hello-enabled computer first, though.

b) There's been heavy flooding in Timis country (western Romania, of which Timisoara is the administrative capital). I didn't realise how bad it was until I was pointing out the Bega canal to Melissa on our tour of the city. What I thought was the Bega was in reality the underpass beside it, which was full of water. The Bega itself was overflowing.

Signs are posted around Timisoara asking for financial help, clothing and supplies for the affected areas. I had a big bag of clothing, unused lotions and cosmetics already made up from when I was making up my suitcases, which I intended to leave outside for the gypsies. I took out even more clothes (some of which I had never worn) and hopefully, those who need them will get them.
