Belgrade

Dinner was fantastic. Turkey, scalloped potatoes, cherry tomatoes and a few cocktails. Some of the best food I've eaten since arriving.

Then I got settled into my hotel. A lovely Communist relic with dark wood, bright red carpet, lumpu bed and a great view of Belgrade. I quickly got dressed for the perfume launch of Cinema.

I decided to go classic and dress all in black. A good decision because everyone else was in black too. Some of the women were in cocktail dresses and one in a ball gown (she was the head of marketing). Then the fashion journalists came. They were less dressed up. Most were wearing jeans. One woman was even wearing a pink furry coat and the ugliest white pointy boots I have ever seen in my life.

I sat through the presentation which was boring as hell, but at least it was in Serbian and French. Then we had all these lovely canapes and unlimited alcohol. I tried some palinka and after one sip, gave the rest to Srdjan. I even scored a free bottle of Cinema and M7 from YSL. I love free stuff. Unfortunately, both of us were dead, so after putting in our mandatory face time, he took me back to the hotel for some much needed sleep.
