Friends

I received an email out of the blue from a friend of a "friend".

I've been friends with Clau online for about seven years. Earlier this year, I joked that I was hoping to visit Romania and possibly find an internship there. He told me he was trying everything possible to leave the country.

Fast forward six months, and I'm living less than 90 kilometres from him.

He and his wife know many students in Timisoara so they passed along my contact information. I've got a dinner date with a medical student at 6:00 pm tomorrow evening.
