This fountain is on the site of an ancient Roman fountain. The water supposedly has magical properties. It tastes horrible, and I prefer the fountain on Alba Iulia much more.

I came to Romania straight out of university as an intern working with intercultural education. After extending my contract twice, I realised how much I love my newly adopted country and decided to stay as long as I could. "As long as I could" turned into 361 days. I am now back in Canada, but am hoping to revive this blog to coincide with my new job.
