Whine

When you rent a furnished apartment, there are certain things you accept as givens, namely:

a) a bed (and not a pull-out couch that remains a couch because it's broken in the middle)
b) a fridge that doesn't sound like it has PSM (or am I just being picky?)
c) a door that latches
d) a door that locks
e) a door that doesn't take you five minutes to lock or unlock, leaving you to wonder if you have to break the window to get out
f) a sink in the kitchen
g) hot water
h) a toilet that flushes

I am paying 100 euros a month for all this. At least I'm downtown.
