Deja Vu

I'm in the same Internet Cafe where I was almost four weeks ago. Kind of weird.

I arrived around this time to Belgrade a month ago today, on my way to Bulgaria.

I hate how events in my life always turn into "before and after". Before Bulgaria and after Bulgaria.

Another FAC intern, Maud, invited me to go to Brasov next weekend. I'm very interested. There are some castles and one of them is the reputed Dracula castle!

Only problem is that is's over 8 hours in a train. Perhaps there are maxi taxis going there.

A maxi taxi is like a minivan that shuttles people between various cities for a little more than it costs in a train. However, since they're driven by Romanians (ie- maniacs), they go at a breakneck speed and arrive in a matter of hours.

I'll ask around tomorrow.

I want burec. I've eaten it three times since arriving in Serbia. I'm going to bring some home to freeze.

Mmm...burec. I joked that I should hook it up to an IV and inject it like a drug. Srdjan loves it too and his friend offered to make him a burec cake if he ever gets married.

So of course I offered to marry him.
