I went to the Billa yesterday. Unfortunately, it doesn't have the same thrill that Auchan had in France.
The Romanian word for "box" is "cutie" (coo-tee-eh). A saw a little girl running around with a sweater that said "Cutie".
I wonder how our society would react if little girls ran around with "Box" written on their sweaters?
Incidentally, I found a lovely example of Romanglish. Well, not quite. I think it probably means "carp" or something.
And yes, I bought it solely for the container. There's no way I'm going to eat "crap".

Any chance it was in English, and really meant 'cutie'?

It was English. I just think it's funny that the word could mean two very different things in different languages.
Especially since "box" has a double connotation in English.
I visited Romania for about a week, and I was really amused by all the fake brand names, like Sike instead of Nike. My favorite has to be Reckbock's instead of Reebock's
crap is the name of a fish
maybe you should try and eat it, it's delicious
